Multi-criteria routing optimization in ad hoc networks

The paper deals with theoretical and practical features of multi-criteria optimization methods for solving routing problems in mobile situational networks (ad hoc networks), taking into account the set of quality indicators. The methodology of multi-criteria selection of optimal systems from a set of admissible ones is stated, which includes methods of selection of a subset of Pareto-optimal variants, and also the subsequent selection of the only preferable variant of system from them. Examples of use of the given methodology are resulted at the decision of problems of a choice of optimum routes taking into account set of quality indicators, and also problems of a multiitem choice of the preferable protocol of routing in mobile situational networks. The book is of interest for experts in the field of construction of mobile situational networks optimum taking into account set of quality indicators which characterize inconsistent technical and economic requirements to networks.
