Motivation as a didactic technique for learning

The techniques developed by the teacher in the learning process are part of the cognitive psychology that leads to the student's motivation to learn. The success of these strategies depends on the experience accumulated by the teacher, as well as the interest in teaching and learning, playing on the ability of each person to apply all his or her resources in the most effective way possible to each learning situation. At the present time, it has been observed that the university teacher has to develop academic skills that are flexible and dynamic, allowing students to adapt to different situations in order to avoid academic desertion; however, when observing in teaching practice that students must be motivated through subjects that are related to learning strategies. In this way, it is of great value to inquire about the types of learning that teachers promote in students to allow a creative and motivating educational process of students and professionals with virtues and skills necessary for the development of countries.
