Moths of Vidarbha

The colorful moths are the most attractive elements of the biodiversity. This Megadiverse group of insects forms a major component of the biodiversity. Moths are a group of insects related to the butterflies and belonging to the order Lepidoptera. Most lepidopterans are moths and there are thought to be approximately 160,000 species of moth, many of which are yet to be described. In the present book; ecology, diversity, morphology of moths are vast subjects which are explained in brief. The book is prepared with effortful four years fieldwork. This book has been written in the hope that it will help in raising the awareness levels of different sections of people and will provide important information for protection and conservation of moths¿ biodiversity.
