Moral harassment of women workers at the University of Kinshasa

Moral harassment of working women is a harmful phenomenon whose impact has been underestimated until now. It seems to be neglected or little considered in comparison with sexual harassment, even though it has destructive effects on the psychological and physical health of workers in general and women workers in particular. It is widespread and of concern in the workplace because it causes many harms to victims, especially in terms of health, workflow and organizational performance. Unfortunately, knowledge on its current state in the D.R.Congo in general, and within the University of Kinshasa which is full of scientists in particular, is limited. Faced with these significant challenges, this book offers employees, employers, readers, researchers and scientists, clear information on the existence of mobbing at work, its perpetrators, its forms, its discriminatory techniques, its consequences and strategies to fight to end or reduce this harmful phenomenon that spares no one in order to promote well being at work.
