Modernization of the locomotive dashboard (LUMITEX)

ALSTOM Transport has been awarded the project to outsource the maintenance of E1300, E1350 and E1400 electric locomotives and the necessary equipment from ONCF. In this context, ALSTOM Transport must control its maintenance operations, meet the operator's requirements and ensure a high quality of service while optimising the duration of the operations. In this sense, the project I carried out during my end-of-study internship in the ALSTOM maintenance workshop concerned the production of a signal box with a data recorder. My project concerns the development of a solution for the computerisation of the maintenance management process. The report is subdivided into 5 chapters :-The first one is dedicated to the presentation of the company's host organization.-The second chapter focuses on the presentation of the different types of ALSTOM locomotives as well as the dashboard (LUMITEX).-The third chapter explains the different steps I followed to finalise this project and the theoretical study.-The fourth chapter is intended for the practical study, as well as the simulation of the system.
