Modeling the Quality of Mobile Government Systems

The Quality of mobile systems impacts the way citizens benefit from the services they provide. For this reason, quality need to be determined in advanced and there is also a need for well-defined measures of the quality of these systems in order to be implemented successfully. This book investigates the factors that determine the Quality in Use of mobile government systems. It introduces Usability and User Experience as factors that determine the quality and Acceptance as an indicator of quality and tries to highlight the relationship between them. The book also provides design recommendations for the designers of mobile systems and particularly mobile government systems. The book contributes to the research on mobile user interface design and evaluation in general and to research on the Quality in Use of mobile government systems in particular by highlighting the challenges and addressing the issues associated with designing mobile user interfaces. The book introduces Mobile Government Applications and shows their importance to government services delivery. It also shows the importance of infusing the quality models in the design process of mobile government system.
