Modeling and Simulating Pollution Indices in Some Nigerian Cities

The world we live in today has been greatly affected positively and negatively by man's activities. This is as a result of his quest to live a better, easier and more comfortable life. Vehicular and industrial emissions, the use of generators for the provision of electricity, the application of fertilizers and herbicides on farm lands for obvious reasons, have all contributed to our soil, water, air and even food pollution. This book gives a simple chemo-metrical approach to the measurement, modelling and simulation of some of these heavy metal pollutants and by extension, other pollution indices in different environmental systems, using the Minitab statistical software.
