Missile Defense System and Technology

Missile defense system has been measured as the top military capacity not only to protect national security but also to prevent military provocation in the international society. The U.S. currently keeps superior missile defense system and its advanced technology to cope with any ballistic missile from short range missiles to long range ballistic missiles with nuclear warhead. Five missile defense systems are composed of ABL, PAC-3, THAAD, SM-3, and GMD. Asia-Pacific area is exposed to the most dangerous military provocation in the international society. Especially, China, Russia, and North Korea have in speed developed their missile techniques with nuclear weapons. They can fire missiles loaded with nuclear warhead toward any country with military purpose which can sweep away any territory in a minute. As well, they are all challenging countries toward the U.S. military power. However, since the U.S. defeated Scud missile of Iraq in Gulf War, its missile defense system has been fully developed as the top national defense strategy and the U.S. can destroy any ballistic missile from land, sea, air, and even the cosmos by multiple missile defense system.
