When talking about reproduction, specifically assisted reproduction, artificial insemination (AI) is a topic of great importance, as it is a technique used throughout the livestock sector, however, this technique has certain disadvantages based on the collection, dilution and cryopreservation of semen, mainly on sperm survival and therefore on fertilization and fertility rates.
