Microbial ecology of Agarwood tree

"Microbial ecology of Agarwood tree" describes the overall microbial interaction of agarwood, especially ¿agarü formation. This book includes isolation, characterization and identification of mycoflora from the rhizosphere, phylloplane of healthy as well as diseased (¿agarü bearing) plants. Abiotic factors, viz., soil condition and weather condition and their relationship with microflora has been discussed. Bio-chemical changes, viz., organic acids, sugars, ascorbic acid, phenols, cellulolytic, pectinolytic, peroxidase, polyphenol oxidase enzyme activities and essential oil in diseased plant parts were also elaborated in this book.
