Beschreibung

The principle of using ultrasonic waves in producing bubbles in liquids (Acoustic cavitation) is important in industrial and medical applications. The bubble produces very high pressure and temperature during collapse. This process is used in: cleaning of pipes (when the bubble collides with the pipe wall it causes cleaning of the collision spot), mixing of chemicals (high pressure and temperature cause breaking of large chain bonds), ultrasonic reactors (high pressure and temperature induce chemical reactions) and producing light when the bubble collapses violently. Theoretical simulation of an acoustic bubble represents the most important tool for improving acoustic cavitations process. The main objective of the present study is to enhancement theoretical simulation of an acoustic bubble, when it is oscillate alone (single bubble system) and when it is oscillate beside another bubble (two bubble system). For the two systems (single bubble and two bubbles) two types of bubble content are considered, which are: gas (air) and the mixture of gas and the vapor of the surrounding liquid (water).
