This book is one of my research approaches performed to evaluate the heavy metals and trace elements contamination of Barapukuria Coal Mine and Power Plant area, Bangladesh. In this study, I analyzed twelve metals to evaluate their toxicity around the industries area comparing with recommended guideline of both national and international standards. This study was also carried out to reveal the metals concentration of soils and water being used for drinking, cooking or irrigation by the local inhabitants and their relationship with the groundwater chemistry.
