Metal Oxide Based Nano-catalysts

The field of nanocatalysis, which involves the use of nanomaterials as catalysts for a variety of catalytic reactions, is growing fast. Nanomaterials have generated significant interest in recent years because of its unique optical, mechanical, electrical and magnetic properties. As a result of these unusual properties, nanoparticles of carbon, metals, metal oxides, alloys and semiconductors have been extensively used in various fields like electronics, fuel cells, batteries, agriculture, wastewater treatment, food industry, and medicine to name a few.
