Metal-Organic Frameworks: An Important Approach to Extract Multiclass Pesticides from Environmental Samples is a compilation of different proposals in terms of developing of method for extraction of pesticide residues from environmental samples (specifically coconut palm), highlighting the use of novel metal-organic framework (MOF) as alternative adsorbents. This book is the result of master¿s dissertation by Dr. Jemmyson Romário de Jesus under the supervision of Prof. Sandro Navickiene and collaboration of Prof. Severino Alves Junior (Federal University of Pernambuco, UFPE, Brazil) and Dr. Kaline Amaral Wanderley. The book is organized into six chapters that focus on the economic and social importance of Cocos nucifera L.; the main pests affecting coconut cultivation; the use of pesticide as primary defense strategy. In addition, this book shows the main technical strategies used to analyze pesticides in environmental samples, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each one. For those professionals involved in environmental, analytical and toxicological, this book will be a useful reference, while providing valuable information from a transdisciplinary point of view.
