Metal framework

This book is aimed at third-year Civil Engineering students and second-year Mechanical Engineering students. This basic book presents the classic fundamental concepts of structural steelwork in a clear and simple manner, with several application exercises. It is divided into two main parts: lectures and exercises. The course part consists of six chapters. In the first chapter we presented the characteristics of a steel material. The second chapter was devoted to the presentation of steel products. The calculation of tension and simple compression of steel elements were presented in chapters 3 and 4. Finally, Chapters 5 and 6 were devoted to simple and compound bending calculations. In the second part, various exercises were proposed.
