It's tough to grow up, even when a child has two parents living full-time in the house with them. Unfortunately for B.D. Springer, life was much different as a child growing up in a military family. As her father fulfilled his duties as a soldier in the army and she attended funerals without knowing why, Springer was often left in the dark with more questions than answers.
