Kurt Gödel’s philosophical remarks have been preserved in 15 notebooks. In Volume 8, Gödel returns to the topic of "language." Here, his remarks focus primarily on the question of "proper language," colloquial language, and "coherent speech." Furthermore, he continues his reflections on designation theories and contemplates the concept of possibility and unreal conditional sentences. His engagement with Frege also occupies a significant portion of the text, as does, to a lesser extent, his engagement with Plato.
