Mathematical Modelling of Electromagnetic Processes

Ways of overcoming the considerable defects of widely used nowadays calculational field mathematical models of electrodynamic devices are suggested. On the basis of known principles of electric field theory, methods of mathematical modelling of electromagnetic processes in moving non-linear anisotropic media are developed; these methods provide for consideration of the coordinate systems which are connected to moving and immovable elements of structure of electromagnetic devices in the course of analysis of electromagnetic phenomena. Using the suggested methods of mathematical modelling of electromagnetic processes in moving and immovable media, as an example, field mathematical models of schematic approximation of designs of teeth-zones of rotor and stator have been developed in the coordinate system of the rotor and in the coordinate systems of the rotor and the stator simultaneously; these models describe the no-load mode (idling) under the given voltage of the excitation winding.
