Many people today find it difficult to express their thoughts in writing, and their page remains misunderstood or is covered with messy erasures, a sign of internal despair. These obstacles also affect oral presentations, which in this case are based on notes that are too dense or poorly organized. In the first communication, the speaker becomes a dull reader, and in the second, he or she may be carried away by emotion or the reactions of the audience.As teachers of writing and speaking skills, we have often been confronted with such attitudes, which very frequently lead to a reaction of rejection to any written performance. Some vehemently confine all writing assignments while others quickly throw text on paper or screen to finish with what should be done professionally, not highlighting their professionalism in this noble work. They give, as a result, a poor image of themselves, both in writing and in speaking.
