Mass production and formulation Development of Entompathogenic Fungi

The present book is an investigative effort which aims to meet the challenges in the development of biopesticide formulation of B. bassiana and N. rileyi. This book elaborately explains: 1. Articulate mass culture method improvising on the earlier methods to achieve good amount of conidial production; identifies virulent isolates most suitable for mass culture. 2. Devise a method for harvest of conidia. 3. Formulate conidia with adjuvants in a form that ensures long shelf life without contamination and facilitates effective performance in the field. 4. Optimize application methods and test the efficacy of the formulation in the laboratory and in the field. 5. Test the feasibility of achieving systemic action through endophytic establishment of the entomopathogenic fungus in the plant.
