Mass media texts about the war: conceptual and lexico-semantic specificity

Discourse is speech, a process of linguistic activity, a way of speaking, a text immersed in a communication situation. There are three main types of use of the term "discourse". Within the framework of the first type of definitions, a linguistic approach to the concept and term is implemented. The second linguistic approach is implemented within the framework of stylistics, it is a refinement of the traditional concepts of style and individual language. According to the third approach, discourse is understood as a special ideal type of communication, in the maximum possible distance from social reality, traditions, etc. and aimed at critical discussion, justification of the views and actions of the participants in the communication.
