Marginality and Oppression in Dalit and African American Literature

The book brings into focus the issues of marginality and oppression of Dalits, African Americans and women in their respective societies. A comparative study of African American and Indian Dalit society is important to understand relationships between the two cultures and societies in relation with the marginalized and the oppressed. The comparatively analysis and evaluation of African American and Indian Dalit culture bring into light, the plight of being Black, Dalit and women.
