Maastricht Criteria and Turkey

Seminar paper from the year 2009 in the subject Politics - International Politics - Topic: European Union, grade: Master, Marmara University, language: Turkish, abstract: In the changing World, the pace of globalization and economic integration process

were seen rapidly and some integration formations have been happened. Among these, the most effective economic integration is known as European Union which has the ability to grow and the biggest trader in the world economy. From the point of view of our country as Turkey, towards integration process of the European Union; the operational mechanism of institutions of European Union, structure of the standardization institutions and conditions for exported goods into Europe are vitally important for Turkey.

In this study; the standardizations of European Union has been considered with their duties in details.
