Livelihood Education Competencies and Employment Capabilities among Graduates. The TLE K to 12 Curriculum in High School

Master's Thesis from the year 2015 in the subject Pedagogy - School Pedagogics, grade: 12, , course: MA in THE, language: English, abstract: This study sought to find out the relationship between the Technology and Livelihood Education competencies and employment capabilities among graduates: basis for school readiness to offer TLE K to 12 curriculum in a High School. The descriptive type of research as the data gathering technique was used. The subjects of this study were one hundred (100) alumni from batch 2008-2010 at the High School.

The study revealed the following findings: The hypothesis stating that the profile of the respondents is not significantly related to their employment capabilities is partially confirmed in this study. The hypothesis stating that learning competencies in TLE are not significantly related to the employment capabilities is partially supported in this study.
