Patch antennas are one of the most attractive antennas designed for radio wave frequency. The other important feature for an antenna is its tunability. A design of liquid crystal based patch antenna with optimum performance at 10GHz is investigated. The procedure could be extended to design other planar antennas that act in a similar way.
