Liming Acidic Soils

Soil acidity is one of the major yield limiting factors to crop production in the highlands of Ethiopia. In order to mitigate this yield limiting factor, a field experiment was conducted to assess the effect of lime and NP fertilizer on yield and yield components on barley (Hordeum vulgare L.). at Hagere Selam, Southern Ethiopia. In this book, the combined effects of lime and NP fertilizer on barley crop has been discussed in-depth and the economic feasibility of the strategy has also been elucidated very well. The literature review part is an exhaustive and a brief summary. It provides the extensive in-depth information on acid soil management.
