LIFE DIFFICULT TO RECONCILE IN MY SOCIETY

Because men are deceptive, versatile, susceptible, dragged by a chain of needs; because the gaze of others often nips them in the bud or overwhelms them with ranting, fanciful delusions, just as the taste for power stifles reflection, it is necessary that ideas, values prevail over the person. The impotence, incompetence and lack of love of those who control public affairs make life difficult to reconcile and to get out of it, it is necessary to have a true love for one's loved ones, meritocracy and a great power based on nationalism. If our efforts should be useless, if our skills should prove insufficient, if our writings should be useless, merit, perhaps glimpsed by us alone, watches over us in the stubborn will to strike down this long mortifying agony. Like those bodies struggling bravely against evils whose destructive powers they do not know, we would have fought against the swell perhaps, against enemies we cannot see. This book, may seem incomplete to some, I am not sure; however the critic will enrich it with his opinions.
