Mrs. Mary Wambui Nderitu is a teacher of Religious Education and History at Kihara Secondary School in Kiambu County, Kenya. She is also a part time lecturer of Curriculum Studies at Mount Kenya and Kenyatta Universities. She was educated at Wamagana Primary School, Mary Immaculate Secondary School and Njonjo High School before proceeding to Kenyata University where she graduated with a B.Ed degree specializing in Religious Studies and History. She also holds an M.Ed (Curriculum Studies) degree from Kenyatta University. She is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Curriculum Studies at Kenyatta University. Mrs. Nderitu has taught Religious Studies and History in various institutions including Karinga Girls High School, Kagumo High School, Thogoto Teachers Training College, Loreto High School, Kiambu and Kihara Secondary School. While in Thogoto for 11 years, Mrs Nderitu supervised and assessed student teachers teaching Religious Education during teaching practice. She has also participated in writing a Religious Education Hand book for tutors in Primary Teacher Training Colleges.
