LEMON vs WILSON Scale

One of the main complications is difficult airway (VAD) in patients undergoing general anesthesia so it is important to be prepared for management by predictors.The aim of this research was to determine the predictive value of the Wilson and LEMON scale for the prediction of VAD and its relationship with the Cormack scale at the José Carrasco Arteaga Hospital in the city of Cuenca in the period January - December 2018.An observational, descriptive study was conducted to evaluate diagnostic tests during 2018. The sample was 350 patients, using the Lemon and Wilson scales and their results were compared with the Cormack scale.Due to the low prevalence of the scales compared to the Cormack scale, it is concluded that they are not useful to predict a difficult airway, but they are useful for an easy airway.
