Leisure time of pupils with intellectual disability

Leisure time of children and young people with intellectual disabilities is influenced by the environmental factors and personality. Depending on the way it is used, leisure time can become a positive or negative developmental factor. Due to the fact that students with learning disabilities need structured and stimulating environment, it is important to provide leisure activities that will meet these requirements, at the same time respecting the wishes and needs of pupils. This book defines concept of leisure time and pedagogical need of leisure time. Also, leisure time in and out of school is explained and distinguished. In the book are presented results of the research about leisure time activities with pupils in special school. At the end, the book provides useful activities for quality spending leisure time by supporting development of child.
