LEGAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH

The program of economic strengthening of the Russian Orthodox Church through the transfer of serious material assets in the form of real estate was finally formed by Federal Law No. 327-FZ of November 30, 2010. "On the Transfer of State or Municipal Property to Religious Organizations," which is referred to by Russian lawyers as the "law on church restitution," which took effect on December 5, 2010.In the new conditions of state support of Russian state for religious organizations it is necessary to clearly understand the possibilities given to such organizations, their legal authorities, legal capacity and legal responsibility in the modern Russian legislation, especially in the sphere of land and property legal relations.In articles the author examines the regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation in recent years concerning the activities of religious organizations, in which there is an increasingly pronounced "symphony of power and church" and clear desecularization (in the legal sense) by the hands of Russian state power.
