Cancer ¿ In just a few years cancer may be the number one killer (World Health Organization). When cancer comes it takes over. It leaves scars. It deforms. It destroys. But can cancer teach those are afflicted? ¿ Cancer is often used as a powerful metaphor for evil, itself. For those who believe in a gracious God cancer will give faith a workout, perhaps to the point of fatigue. Cancer raises serious questions: Why me? Does God care? Does God listen when I pray?
