Lean Manufacturing applied in a Logistics Distribution Center

Investing in logistics has been an excellent alternative, as it is one of the defining characteristics of the companies that have been standing out. The Lean Manufacturing philosophy, if used correctly, can provide excellent results, as it is based on the continuous improvement of the eight wastes it highlights. This book is the result of research carried out at an e-commerce company with a strong influence in the logistics area and located in the center-west of Paraná. Its aim was to apply the Lean Manufacturing philosophy in the logistics sector by addressing the eight wastes highlighted in the methodology, using various quality tools and an in-depth application of continuous improvement, which led to positive and satisfactory results.
