Leading With Ethics

During the last decades, there has been an increase in literature related to work scandals. This continuous presence of work scandals in organizations has enhanced the development of new leadership theories, which emphasize mainly on ethics. This interest in ethics and ethical practices within organizations has highlighted the significance of leadership. Consequently, questions like: "who is considered as ethical?", "can ethics improve our worklife?", and "how can one lead in accordance to ethics?" have emerged. This book has three objectives: the first objective is the delineation of the concept of ethical leadership at work; The second objective is the development of a new, sound psychometric measure, capable for assessing ethical leadership at work in a reliable and valid manner. The new psychometric measure that was developed is named Questionnaire of ethical Leadership (QueL); The third objective examines way for enhancing ethics throughout a wide range of processes within organizations.
