Laminated Cementitious Composites

This book is the outcome of my experience gained while dealing with the manifold aspects of the topics covered both in the teaching as well as in the practical field. In this book, an analytical model of laminated cementitious composites has been developed to predict the mechanical behavior of laminated cementitious composites elements in flexure, tension and compression. The validity of the developed model is assessed by comparing the analytical results with the experimental ones. It is found that the model is powerful, efficient and versatile for predicting progressive cracking and buckling capacities of arbitrary shaped thin-walled laminated cementitious composites elements and traces the entire stress-strain and load-deflection relationships under various loadings and boundary conditions. Numerous illastrative diagrams, worked-out, examples, tables, charts and graphs have been presented to meet the need in the structural engineering education, profession and reserches covering the analyses, design and applications of laminated cementititous composites for engineering constructions in a comparatively simple, concise and thorougly modern manner.
