This book as a Laboratory Manual in Soil Mechanics for soil tests has been prepared for laboratory practices that are related to Applied Geology, Mining, and Civil Engineering projects. It has been compiled to fulfill requirements for the course units in Soil Mechanics of the curriculum for Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. An effort has been made to provide typical test results that should be anticipated by learners in their endeavour to perform the tests.The typical test results provided will motivate the learners and inculcate a positive attitude for expectation of meaningful results at the end of each test.
