Labor Reform Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to propose a reform of the state labor code to ensure labor stability for the employees of the University of Guayaquil-Ecuador, 2020. Its methodology was quantitative, descriptive and propositive, its sample was 119 servers of the city of Guayaquil, using the following instruments: Questionnaire of labor stability and questionnaire of labor code reform previously validated. The results showed that although the current labor stability of the employees was not considered as bad, the respondents themselves maintained a neutral position in their answers. In addition, there are influential factors between labor stability and the State Labor Code Reform, which allowed designing the reform to ensure labor stability, which will benefit public servants. And, positive results of the design are assured after finding positive and significant correlations between the variables. It is concluded that the proposed reform of the state labor code will significantly ensure the labor stability of public servants in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador.
