Diabetes mellitus is regarded as a metabolic affliction which may accompany chronic hyperglycemia and irregularities in carbohydrate, proteins and lipids metabolism. It witenesses abnormal secretion and/or activity of insulin. Type 1 diabetes precipitates due to the destruction of ¿-cells in the pancreas which may be the results of autoimmune phenomenon.
