Knowledge Management as an administrative tool

This book was born out of the perception of the importance of knowledge management in public administration. It is a report on the experience of a university library. The book is based on the idea that knowledge is the main tool for overcoming challenges and improving the quality of services provided in an organization. The reader interested in the subject will realize that Knowledge Management involves a more active people management policy as well as intensive use of Information Technology tools.
