Journey of the Carbohydrates

The main objective of this book is that it creates a unifying conceptual frame which will make learning easier and more exciting for the students interested in this field. Students can enjoy the exhilaration of both chemistry and metabolism of carbohydrate with biologically important sugar and its derivatives. The book is divided in seven chapters. The first two chapters and some portion of third chapter is specially meant for B.Sc. students, chapter one to five and some portion of chapter six will be great source for PG students and some portion of five and chapter six will be useful to bio students. This journey apart from natural products and bio science is accompanying the drugs, antibiotics, vitamins having sugar moiety or which are derivatives of sugar. Simpler methodology is used for structural elucidation of most of the compounds into a manageable text which is student friendly. It will act as a gravitational force for M.Sc. and Ph.D. students too. Students can be benefitted for depth of the subject in chapter seven where all questions and answers are given. Finally, without bumpers of doubt and hurdle of language they can take a ride of this journey.
