Just in time (JIT) is a management philosophy, which aims to produce goods of high quality and in sufficient quantity to meet customer demand exactly in time. This philosophy promotes minimum waste because waste includes time and resources as well as materials. JIT philosophy helps for production of low-cost and enhanced quality goods.
