IT management in the transport process

The purpose of the monograph is automation of conducting logistics operations process in express delivery service regarding storage and data processing under the arrived demands. According to the research objectives of the monograph following tasks have been put and carried out: - Defined role of the logistics companies in process merchandising; - Defined role, place and tasks of information systems in logistics activity are; - Offered classification of complex automation systems management by the companies from logistics positions; - Offered the order of a choice of the most effective way in automation management in the logistics company on the basis of the business processes analysis in information system; - Developed informational model, allowing to automate a demands acceptance from clients and registration of the deliveries, offering tracing possibility of the demand status, review of history demand; single input of the information on the company, given are saved in base; possibility of review of the quick personal accounts reference and its usage as companies databases. - The applied program application is developed in Visual Studio in language C #.
