Isolation and Characterization of Fungal Isolates from Corneal Ulcer

This work emphasizes the burden of Fungal agent in Corneal ulcer formation and it's complication. There are also discussed the methods of sample collection and processing of Corneal scraping to identify the fungal agent responsible for disease route cause. Fungal agents are very dangerous in respect with human infections and it require effective and long term treatment to settle. This Book narrates the various diagnostic methodology which are useful to identify the fungi and also to distinguish from other infectious causes of corneal ulcer. As for treatment concerned we need to asses the antifungal susceptibility testing to assure the clearance at cellular level. The patient Immune status also to be concerned during the treatment of any fungal infections.
