Islamic periods witnessed dramatic transformation through continuous dialectic relations between the built environment and human activity which in turn caused rich development for the features and urban spaces of the built environment that correlated strongly with actual human needs. This book reviews evidence on the ideality of built environment from Islamic point of view. The book solely dedicated to the Islamic concept in built environment and highlighted the hidden spirit in the Islamic urban form.
