IOT Based Ground Water level monitoring using smart Quality Checking

The main source of water in the Indian subcontinent is Groundwater. It is also the most rapidly depleting resource due to various reasons such as rampant unchecked exploitation of irrigation and groundwater by industries and other organizations. The current system is limited by short communication range, high power consumption and the system only monitors the water level and the report is available only to the consumer ie it is a single-user system. Due to the unavailability of a centralized system to monitor and prevent overuse of water resources, sudden water crises have become a major issue in India.Ensuring the safety of water is a challenge due the excessive sources of pollutants, most of which are man-made. The main causes for water quality problems are over-exploitation of natural resources. The rapid pace of industrialization and greater emphasis on agricultural growth combined with latest advancements, agricultural fertilizers and non-enforcement of laws have led to water pollution to a large extent. The problem is sometimes aggravated due to the non-uniform distribution of rainfall.
