Intrusion has always been a challenge to the orthodontist, while some authors claim it is possible to achieve intrusion some others claim that it is impossible to achieve true intrusion. The biomechanical and histological basis of this tooth movement has been a difficult problem for evaluation and understanding. There are variable modalities present for the intrusion like intrusion of anteriors (True intrusion), combination of anterior intrusion and posterior extrusion, proclining anteriors or surgically. However, it should be decided which method will be more beneficial or which will improve the patient¿s facial appearance and functional efficacy.
