Intracranial angiomatous meningioma

Intracranial angiomatous meningiomas are rare tumors representing less than 2% of all intracranial meningiomas. Since their first description in 1979, these richly vascularized meningiomas have rarely been studied to define specific characteristics that differentiate them from other subtypes of meningiomas. The series presented in this work was a retrospective multicenter study of 58 patients operated on for intracranial angiomatous meningioma during the last 15 years. The objectives of our work were: to study the epidemiological, clinical and radiological characteristics of intracranial angiomatous meningiomas; to plan the management and to evaluate the prognosis.
