International Intellectual Property Protection

The book comprehensively covers the main issues of private international law in the field of intellectual property. The author substantiates the necessity and consequences of flexible application of the principle of territoriality of intellectual property. The study is based on a wide range of literary and regulatory sources. Taking into account the differences in the national legal regulation of intellectual property (the law of the USA, UK, France, Germany, Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine is taken into account) the specifics of application of private international law mechanisms in this area are shown. Practical aspects of the publication are traced in the study of procedures for resolving international disputes on intellectual property issues. In addition, the author formulates conclusions about the further ways of development of law and practice of international protection of intellectual property.
