INTERMITTENT SPRAY PYROLYTIC DEPOSITION OF WO3 FILMS FOR SMART WINDOW

This book's main aim is to enhance electrochromic properties like reversibility, coloration efficiency and lifetime of thin films. The possibilities of augmenting the EC performance of the WO3 films some novel routes have been followed, those include: a) Anchoring of gold nanoparticles by drop casting method andb) Anchoring of functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes (f-MWCNTs) by drop casting method.In the first route, it was presumed to couple the surface plasmon resonance and EC phenomena, while dramatic improvement of active surface area due to anchoring of f-MWCNTs was the motif behind second route. In this work thin films prepared by own designed and patented intermittent spray pyrolysis technique is a promising technique for making large surface area coatings with high quality.
