Nutrition integration in HIV and AIDS programmes has been emphasized by the South African Department of Health. However, there still exist some gaps in the implementation process. This necessitated the need to undertake a study that would establish some of the barriers that have led to the lag in effective implementation at an organizational level. The findings have been targeted at driving towards feasible recommendations that ascertain implementation.
